Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using RankHub, you agree to these Terms. We may update them periodically; continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. The Service

RankHub provides community-powered rankings via pairwise voting using the Glicko-2 rating system. Users compare two items and vote; ratings update in real-time based on community consensus.

3. Accounts

  • Must be 16+ to create an account
  • Responsible for maintaining credential security
  • One account per person (no duplicates)
  • Choose a non-impersonating username
  • We may suspend accounts that violate these terms

4. User Content

Your votes and comments are your own. You grant RankHub a non-exclusive worldwide license to display and distribute them within the service. You retain ownership. You may not submit spam, malicious, or illegal content. We may remove content at our discretion.

5. Voting Integrity

Honest votes are required. No automated tools, botnets, or coordinated voting. We use rate limiting, Turnstile, and statistical anomaly detection. Violations result in vote invalidation and account suspension.

6. Intellectual Property

RankHub name, logo, code, and design are our intellectual property. Item images are sourced from public databases (Wikimedia Commons, Unsplash, Pexels) under their respective licenses. Item names, descriptions, and metadata are factual and not copyrightable.

7. Disclaimer

Rankings reflect community consensus, not objective truth. No warranties on accuracy, completeness, or suitability. We are not liable for decisions based on ranking data.

8. Limitation of Liability

Not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law
